His biggest obstacle — next to his administration’s inability to produce enough testing to allow local officials to safely reopen — is that he lacks the legal authority to force states and cities to open up.
Barr proceeded to explain that any governors who fail to define “common sense” the same way as Trump may feel the wrath of Barr’s Department of Justice: Now, normally, Republicans tend to favor state and local authority over the heavy hand of the federal government. But the difference in this case is that Republicans control the federal government some legal principle Barr hasn’t explained yet.
Because this administration keeps saying this is a war against an invisible enemy... meaning they are ok with collateral damage. Meaning... our lives for their greedy friends.
Or, having helped to engineer an extra-legal regime in the US, does Barr just worry that he’s rendered himself obsolete?

What a misuse of power. Barr needs to go. He does not work for trump he works for us, the American people and as such should be upholding the law not bending it to punish people who don’t obey the wishes of the dictator trump.
