The tour’s title, “Last Summer On Earth,” is a play on 2012, the year that the ancient Mayan calendar predicted would see the end of the world. It’s been a dozen years since then and the band has branded seven of its last dozen summer tours with the cheeky “Last Summer On Earth” title.
The Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees gained fame in the 1990s with peppy hits such as “One Week,” and “It’s All Been Done” and released their 13th studio album, “Detour de Force,” in 2021.
