We know it’s very important to our state,” Richey explained.
“You know what happens when supply gets disrupted? Prices go up. You think oh well this is bad because the ports going to be shut down because the waterway is blocked,” Richey said. “But we also have the situation where the trucks can’t get there.” “Mobile handles a lot of coal, Mobile handles automotive, Mobile handles aerospace and those are similar things Baltimore carries through the ports,” Richey said.
