Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Baldur's Gate 3 may already feature plenty of unique classes for players to enjoy but one fan went a step further by creating one of Dungeons & Dragons' most beloved archetypes for the game. Larian Studios spent years developing its Forgotten Realms RPG so that anyone could complete its sprawling narrative, no matter their character's class, race, or build.

Fortunately, that's now changed thanks to Nexus Mods user KiderionLykon who shared their fantastic "Artificer Class And All Subclasses" mod which doesn't exactly what it says on the package. This means that players can elect to make their Tav a character that's deft with their hands and capable of creating all manner of trinkets and gadgets to help solve problems.

Related Does Baldur's Gate 3 Really Have 17,000 Endings? It’s been said that Baldur’s Gate 3 has 17,000 different endings, but how true is that claim? An interview sheds some light on BG3’s many conclusions.

As for the other subclasses, Alchemists are excellent at brewing potions with a skillset that makes use of deadly chemicals while also supplying the party with plenty of handy buffs. Alternatively, the Artillerist is able to use an arsenal of explosives to deal wide splash damage to a group while the Armorer does what one might expect and erects walls of protection to keep their companions safe from enemy attacks.

Whether or not one is itching to take on the role of an Artificer in Baldur's Gate 3, the game is already loaded with options as the community has spent years modding the experience. Ever since the game's early-access release in 2020, fans have created thousands of unique add-ons that tweak certain gameplay elements and even overhaul entire acts fundamentally.
