The punk rock bands Social Distortion and Bad Religion will kick off the Summer Concert Series at The Rooftop at Pier 17 with two shows in May, organizers announced on Wednesday.
The annual series brings a wide variety of musical artists to the venue for more than 60 concerts from May through October., which produces large parties at various venues across the country, will bring DJ Moma and others to the rooftop on July 6.“To have that experience of seeing your favorite act with the Brooklyn Bridge as the backdrop is something you'll never forget,” said Craig Manfra, senior director of marketing at the Rooftop at Pier 17.
Stacie George, the senior vice president of booking at Live Nation, which promotes and co-produces the concert series with Pier 17, said that ticket prices for concerts will range from $25 to $125.
