‘Bachelorette’ Alum Zac Clark Is Gearing Up for the London and New York City Marathons

Two races, two continents, five weeks, one goal: Raise as much awareness as possible for substance abuse and addiction treatment.

winner, who got engaged to fiancée Tayshia Adams in the show’s season 16 finale, will run his first“I think in some wild way, my mind is telling me that London is a training run for New York,” Clark, 37, told. “With London, I’m more focused on throwing a decent time up. Then I’ll be taking a celebration lap with New York because it’s been such a crazy couple of years, and it's the marathon’s 50th running.

“It’s unbelievable. Seeing [the Release Recovery logo] out there, and seeing it worn by not just people who are sober and in recovery, but by common folk as well, really means the most to me,” he said. “It just confirms that we’re doing exactly what we’re supposed to be doing.”Clark is one of five running for the Release Recovery Foundation in London. Adams will support from the sidelines, but will join her fiancé and over 60 others running the marathon in NYC.

“There’s a lot of first-timers,” Clark said. “In addition to raising money and getting the word out about substance abuse and mental health treatment, it has been really inspiring to see these people who never imagined running five miles, now on track to finish the marathon.”
