Jeff Gregorich, superintendent of the Hayden-Winkelman Unified School District in Arizona, is facing pressure from the state's governor to reopen school in person, despite already losing a teacher to the coronavirus.

‘I cannot lose another teacher’: Ariz. superintendent terrified over school reopening“That’s what I lose sleep over,” says Jeff Gregorich on reopening schools in his tiny district in Arizona. “It doesn’t make sense to me at all. As many times as I play it out, I just don’t understand what others are missing that think that would be safe.” Children do not readily transmit the virus and, when they do get it, it is 5-10 times LESS deadly than regular flu. This superintendent is NOT following the science, he’s following the political edicts of the DNC. Don’t do it, PLEASE! Yet we won’t mention depression and other things that effect these children from all of this. Very one sided point of view.

The Nightmare of Back-to-School Season Is Here“Back in April teachers were considered heroes. But that messaging has changed. Now if you’re not willing to risk your life by going into a building unnecessarily then you’re lazy,' says teacher Ashley Newman A lot of people have dangerous, high risk jobs. If you're concerned about your health don't take one of those jobs. Teachers sucked in April. They barely taught & distance learning was a disaster. Look at the headlines across the nation. Distance learning was a complete failure for the students. Parents were not happy with it & students fell behind in learning. Teachers were not heroes. Can’t help feeling people must be feeling bullied by trump and his henchmen into sending their kids to school. It’s wrong. Parents should follow their instincts.
