The snow slide closed West Camp Road on the Whittier side of the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, according to a spokesperson with the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. The avalanche buried the road in roughly three feet of snow for about a 50-foot stretch between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. The department said there did not appear to be any infrastructure damage to the road, which was reopened at 8:35 a.m., according to the spokesperson.)
