According to Unified Police, the 17-year-old victim was working at the Smith’s Food and Drug at 8055 W. 3500 South on Jan. 8 at about 10:30 p.m. when he was shot at. The teen was in the parking lot collecting shopping carts at the time. That’s when two males in a blue sedan drove up, fired the BB gun at him and reportedly laughed as they drove away.
A surveillance camera captured the car that the shooters were in, but the footage “is not very clear,” according to police.
