Austin, Texas, police have launched an investigation into why officers fired"less-lethal" beanbag munition at a crowd transporting an injured man.
Justin Howell, a 20-year-old student at Texas State University, was protesting George Floyd's death outside police headquarters a little after 11 p.m. on May 31, Austin Police Department Chief Brian Manley said in a news conference posted on social media. A protester who was standing next to Howell hurled a water bottle and a bag at the police officers, the chief said.

What are the group of policemen? they are our safeguards in people's daily lives. To err is human. Please do not let one mistake be a drive to lose trust in all of those who have been trying to protect the women and kids, the elderly, and the disabled persons.

We all know how this is going to end. Turns out the officers had to initiate violence because they feared it would be initiated on them. It was an 'officer safety' issue. Which is a phrase cops use to excuse their crimes. 'stop resisting' another lie they're trained to repeat.

What the hell is wrong with cops. We were taught to go to them for help. As adult I've suffered abuse from cops and I am a white lady. I stand for George Floyd and his family.
