Daz Cameron talks it over with coach Bobby Crosby before his first game with the Athletics Wednesday at the Coliseum.OAKLAND — Pinch-hitter Tyler Soderstrom walked on four pitches with the bases loaded to cap a five-run rally in the bottom of the 11th inning Wednesday as the Athletics stunned the Colorado Rockies, 10-9, at the Coliseum.

The Rockies built their four-run lead by getting a run against Miller in the 11th. Jake Cave hit an RBI single and Brenton Doyle added an infield single that scored a runner from third with two out before Mark Kotsay brought in Brandon Bielek. Bielek promptly gave up a two-run double to Brendan Rodgers.

In the bottom of the 10th, Zack Gelof singled home free runner Seth Brown against Justin Lawrence to tie the score 5-5. The Athletics had two runners aboard with one out and a chance to win, but Cameron grounded into a double play to send it to the 11th. Starter Joey Estes went seven innings before an announced crowd of 6,886, giving up four hits and four earned runs with no walks and six strikeouts. He threw 93 pitches, 73 of which were strikes, bouncing back nicely from an 8-1 loss in Houston where he gave up eight earned runs and walked four in 3 2/3 innings.
