AstraZeneca will acquire biotechnology company Neogene Therapeutics for up to $320 million, the London-listed drugmaker said on Tuesday, seeking to build its pipeline of cell-based cancer treatments.

"Neogene's leading discovery capabilities and extensive manufacturing experience complement the cell therapy capability we have built over the last three years," said Susan Galbraith, AstraZeneca's executive vice president of oncology research.

Neogene's approach goes one step further in that its experimental T-cell receptor therapies seek to target DNA mutations specific to tumours, not only certain proteins on the surface of cancer cells.

Murphy, leaders haven’t done enough to boost N.J. businesses this year, survey saysThe majority of New Jersey businesses surveyed in the annual poll also said New Jersey is at least somewhat unaffordable for businesses. Well, you get what you vote for.. depending on those who mucked you up in the first place to 'fix' the problems they created is foolishness What a complete njcom crock of BS. Why R U not calling out Phail for killing 33% of NJ small businesses via his horrible EO's? What is he doing to resurrect them? Nothing, just pandering photo ops with the businesses still in business. Zero biased journalism as usual. Pathetic So shocking after they crushed businesses during COVID! Except for big box stores. But that’s because Walmart, Target, BJ’s, Costco, and a few other big box stores were able to prevent Covid in their stores with special air filters that Gov Murphy designed for them!
