China reported more than 100 new cases of COVID-19 as the country continues to battle an outbreak in the northwestern region of Xinjiang.

The 101 new cases was China’s highest daily increase in weeks. The northwestern region of Xinjiang accounted for 89, with another eight in the northeastern province of Liaoning and one in Beijing. Another three cases were brought from outside the country by returning Chinese citizens. Xinjiang’s outbreak has centered on the region’s capital and largest city of Urumqi, where authorities have isolated some communities, restricted public transport and ordered widespread testing.— South Korea reported 48 additional cases, maintaining an uptick in new infections. The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday the additional figures took the country’s total to 14,251 with 300 deaths.

Look, how bias title!

And what's the price of tea over there?

Just 100?!?

still reporting China “numbers”

Why? You don’t believe these numbers, do you? What happened to “journalism?” The largest population in the world, and the source of this virus, and we should believe the infection/death numbers provided by this communist nation? Come on man, we all are better than this.

Aren't they all wearing masks?

Does China have Hydroxychoroquine?

Imagine believing China's numbers

Communist CH|ИΛ always lies.

margbrennan I could be wrong, but isn't this the region where the Muslim camps are located? If untrustworthy China is admitting to the rise in cases, I just wonder the strategy. This doesn't in any way absolve the tragic failure of the US to manage Covid, but call me curious....

margbrennan

Wonder if those uyghurs become experimental objects for the vaccine. ccp’s nature is too evil.

The one they created and lied about?

Yikes even the Asians get the Kung pow cold

I forgot how to do Chinese math? Is it add 3 zero’s or 4 to get to the truth?Errr.. I mean actual total.

Are we sure it was Covid or is there some 'new' crap they're spreading?

margbrennan 100. Hmm.

More than 100 can be infinity.

It's China. That's ×100 likely.

and U.S. probably doesnt report their new cases as the country battles the outbreak
