Attorney General William Barr spoke to ABC News’ Pierre Thomas about the arrest of Epstein’s alleged co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell.into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged co-conspirators is marching forward -- with or without Prince Andrew's cooperation, according to Attorney General William Barr.

Geoffrey Berman, the then-U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York, slammed Prince Andrew's failure to cooperate with investigators last month. According to a source familiar with the situation, the Department of Justice approached the prince in early January 2020 asking for his cooperation, and his lawyers promptly responded by opening discussions regarding how Andrew would provide his testimony. They were left"slack jawed" when Berman announced on Jan. 27 that the prince had offered"zero co-operation," as they thought they were in mid-negotiation with the prosecutors.
