Facebook is standing by its approach to Mike Bloomberg’s unorthodox campaign activities on the platform — activities that some view as exploiting loopholes in social media policies

Facebook took to Twitter on Thursday to defenddetailing how the 2020 contender is paying a small army of people $2,500 per month to promote him on their social media accounts — “[blurring] the line between traditional campaign organizing and the distribution of sponsored content” — left Facebook fielding questions about its policies. “This is clearly a coordinated campaign. It is seeking influence.
