A job-scarce town struggles with Arkansas’s first-in-nation Medicaid work rulesMarianna provides an early reality check on how hard it is to carry out President Trump’s vision of a social safety net that requires most able-bodied people to work — or try to work — when few jobs are to be found. From the man who never worked a job this is ironic. He has no idea how it is to NOT have money, tons of it, to blow on whatever. When that runs out go borrow more. He seems to want to kill off the weak, poor, disabled. Remind you of someone with a mustache As they should. If work is available. 🖕 It’s like he wants the American people to implode!

Arkansas governor seeks appeal of decision voiding Medicaid work rules‘We are in this for the long haul because we believe it is the right policy,’ he says. Well, that's a heckuva argument. Orval Faubus thought he was right when he closed all the public schools after integration. Thinking that you're right doesn't actually mean that you're right. Everyone that can just leave the state. I am in Missouri, and they have gotten uglier and uglier, to anyone that is not perfect of body or mind; everyone that can't manage to make enough, and there are plenty in my state, just like in Ark. Poverty is not a crime. God is watching 'You have to work to get social safety net benefits, but there's no jobs guarantee, so enjoy whatever happens next' is probably the best snapshot of American politics in 2019 you could ask for.
