Masks don’t stop virus particles. Kids touch and tug at their masks frequently which augments the spread of pathogens. Mask mandates are pure virtue signaling.

Djeez, the picture itself shows why masking children is a waste of time and ridiculous. If it's not an N95, and you're touching it - it's not going to help. And help against what? A thing that's less threatening than the common flu for that age bracket? Psycho.

Feel ur pain! My 5 yr old just started kindergarten and i am scared. We r all vaxxed and LUCKILY GWINNETT CTY is MASK MANDATED(despite all the parents throwing fits) so i dont have to worry so much. However, not sure how long schools are going to stay open with all these cases.

Her worst fear was for her child to get COVID… I’m a parent of 2 and I can think of 200 things I fear more than either of my kids getting COVID

If the delta was more serious against kids and If we are serious about our kids ..sucks but why on earth would we have school? Something doesn’t add up

When did a piece of cloth become political? Are people going to protest wearing shirts and pants since they are required in restaurants and everyday life? Is it against your freedom to mandate wearing cloth to cover your body? Just wear a mask!

And so she’s sleepy? What other symptoms? My 5 year old granddaughter tested positive Christmas. Her only symptom was being tired. Also my granddaughter was in school the entire year last year with no closures. If her daughter was wearing a mask what’s her point?

The 'best learning' happens when kids are ALIVE and well, free from covid. It is criminal that parents to are being forced to send children to school, knowing that every possible effort is NOT being made to keep them safe and that prevention efforts are actually being blocked!

My daughter started preschool last month. She and I have both been sick with flu for two weeks, because preschools. I'm not sure when I'll pull her out again, but... soon.

Schools should give parents the choice of remote and in person. Schools should find ways to improve remote learning.
