Washington An Arizona House Democrat reintroduced legislation this week to permanently protect a sacred Apache site in the state from a mining company that's planning to build a copper mine there.
Rep. Raúl Grijalva introduced the Save Oak Flat Act on Monday to provide permanent protection for Oak Flat, or Chi'chil Bildagoteel, in the Tonto National Forest in Arizona. The congressman also introduced the act in 2015, 2017 and 2019; it's never made it to a House floor vote.

Just say it out right that it’s near the superior mine. Anybody that knows anything about Arizona knows damn well where the resources are.
This should fix all the Native American issues that has been dealt to them over the last 250+ years,.... (sacrcasm,..yes....I have to spell that out to liberals)
This must be fought. Hard. You guys have no idea the long term implications to groundwater, air pollution, etc.. I grew up in the biggest mining city in the country, it ruined the city, filled it w cancer, and decades later, still a tragedy. Don’t do this!
