Ariana Grande Put a Retro Twist on Her Classic Ponytail for the Grammys

Before we get into her hair — can we talk about this dress? The singer wore a custom Giambattista Valli blue-grey tulle dress with long opera gloves. A true Cinderella moment. Okay, now back to the beauty. Of course, Grande had to show up with her trademark ponytail, but this time, she wore it in an ombré, platinum-blonde shade with flipped-out ends. We've seen so many celebrities wear the

lately but in my opinion, Grande did it best tonight. We love how her dark roots anchor the whole look.But wait, that's not all. Grande later took the Grammys stage to give us a hell of a performance that came, of course, with outfit changes. She traded in the Cinderella number for, at first, a simple black ballgown during a performance of "Imagine," a tribute to her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, who passed last year.

Grande is nominated for five awards tonight but she's already won for best hair on the red carpet in our book.
