This reminds me of the $8 BILLION Robert Mercer owes in back taxes. Has any of that been paid to the IRS or they only going after dead people?

How black is that?

She was a terrible person who left unpaid bills all around town. I know of businesses who refused to work with her because she didn’t think she needed to pay because she didn’t care to pay people. She could sing no doubt but a good person .. not even close

How many back taxes will Trump's estate pay when he finally croaks? Given that he practiced tax evasion his whole life?

Why pay it at all? You are a big 😎star, why should 'stars' pay any taxes?

Death and taxes confirmed. She sure could sing, though!

I mean really. TMZ and others can dig up this on the deceased Queen of Soul, yet NO mention of 45s taxes, which too are under audit, correct? Ridiculous.

That’s a good thing.

Darn taxes !!!😁

Sell her posasions, pay the piper

Think she cares

I have an idea how to get the $500 million the Trump family stole from the IRS and American people. TrumpResign

She 'owes' nothing.

Franklin attorney: $3 million in back taxes paid to IRSDETROIT (AP) — An attorney representing the estate of the late Queen of Soul says at least $3 million in back taxes have been paid to the IRS since Aretha Franklin's death this summer in her Detroit apartment. David Bennett tells The Associated Press Thursday that Franklin's estate is being audited by the IRS, which he says filed a claim this month in a county probate court north of Detroit. TMZ reported earlier Thursday that legal documents it obtained showed the IRS claimed Franklin owes more than $6.3 million in back taxes from 2012 to 2018 and $1.5 million in penalties.
