As a part of its continued effort to promote opportunities within the Black community, KNC School of Beauty participants will have the chance to host an Instagram takeover on Revlon’s page to promote their brand, win the chance to attend Revlon’s virtual Diversity Roundtable this fall, have the opportunity to have their work featured on KNC Beauty’s Instagram page, and win $10,000 to help start or grow their business.
The second of the four-semester tuition-free program will not only cover entrepreneurship but will also have a personalized touch featuring a long forum allowing for questions and answers. Kristen’s passion to jump-start this initiative was propelled by the ongoing conversations surrounding racial injustice as well as Kristen's own experience as a small business owner. Drawing from her experience, she's now striving to help other business owners navigate the industry.
The new Entrepreneurship 201 course, launching on October 14, was curated to give participants a more in-depth look at the process of launching a business. The first semester of Entrepreneurship 201 will feature Beatrice Dixon, the mind behind ofKristen strategically chose individuals that will truly help attendees to navigate their entrepreneurial journey – covering everything from legal issues, to finances, todeveloping the product they want to sell.
