Arab League rejects Trump's Israel policies at annual summit

Representatives from the 22-member league — minus Syria — jointly condemned President Donald Trump's recognition of Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights and his decision last year to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Calling the meeting "the summit of resolve and solidarity," Host-country Tunisia's President Beji Caid Essebsi decried "regional and international interventions" in Arab affairs.

The Arab leaders meeting in Tunisia condemned those policies but did not announce any further action.

Unified? This lot? All of these leaders , at the last minute, will succumb to their personal greed , take a sweetener or two for themselves, families and friends and move on. Nothing new.

Tameem Qatar withdrew from the meeting when they posed the issue of terrorist groups backed by Iran and Turkey in protest on that. This shows the extent to which Iran and Turkey control the decision in Qatar

The Golan Heights does rightfully belong to Israel. The Six Days War in 1967 was initiated by Islamic nations. This did not go how they expected, however, and they quickly lost Golan. While humanitarian issues must be addressed, the annexation by Israel was in defense.

Arab leaders should also speak to Mr. Trump's overall Middle East ideology put in force by America's sole voice, Jared Kushner. The Palestinians are facing airstrikes as well as the Syrian Army. One of these has to be an act of war.
