Companies trying to hire by getting foreigners H-1B visas should have to show extensive employee search here in the US. If anyone with more than 5 years in the same job or over 55 years old, that firing or forced retirement should be investigated!

They are regularly abused. Companies often times write job descriptions so that only H-1B candidates qualify for the job knowing that they can underpay them and hold the visa over their heads. This is a fact
