Apple supports the CCP with many of their restrictions and policies, good on the game devs for breaking away and doing their own thing.
The App Store is Apple's. You don't have to like the rules, but you don't get to volunteer your product on someone's else's platform and then complain about the rules. They didn't invite you to the party. You came on your own.

I have several non-gaming apps that let me purchase directly, instead of going through the app store. Amazon, Vudu, the web browser, and even several restaurant apps (no delivery apps). If a company can support their own store, they should be allowed to do so.
