Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook received almost $100 million in compensation in 2021, a year in which he completed 10 years as the company’s CEO and led the iPhone maker to record profits during a global pandemic.
His $98.7 million pay package rose more than 500% compared with the previous year’s $14.8 million, according to the tech giant’s annual proxy filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
It’s good to see the rich winning in America for once.

A correction on CEO pay long overdue and much needed. If the pay for the top 10% at every company was adjusted downward, to 70s levels, it would improve the lives of many.

Is there parallel compensation offered to stakeholders and employees in the form of dividends, salary increases, and bonuses? Being a competent CEO is incredibly difficult and deserves reward, while employees also contribute to the success, along with the investors who bet on it.
That's enough to give everyone on Earth a penny. What a selfish animal keeping it to himself instead of buying everyone 1/25th of a gumball.
