Appeals court blocks New York governor's Covid-19 restrictions on houses of worship

A federal appeals court on Monday blocked New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's restrictions on religious gatherings, saying the restrictions"are not narrowly tailored to stem the spread of Covid-19."

The decision comes after the US Supreme Court ruled in November that Jewish and Catholic houses of worship faced"far more restrictive" Covid-19 regulations than businesses. The appeals court ruling addressed per person limits on houses of worship, saying the state must justify imposing 10- or 25-person limits on houses of worship but not on certain secular businesses.

Think about the large ultra orthodox Hasidic communities in NY. They gather in huge numbers for weddings, funerals, Briss ceremonies all in the name of their religion. They do not social distance, wear masks or vaccinate.

Dead people can’t go to church!!! Where is the common sense People can pray just as well at home and watch religious services on TV.

So the federal appeals court is now using science fiction to overturn facts?

And yet, my Church, that I havent been attending since covid started, will not mandate masks. A big percentage of the Church now has coronavirus. It doesnt matter of you are a restaurant or a Church. Covid doesnt really care. I'm sad that people dont take this virus as seriously
