Anti-vaxxers are 'morally reprehensible, deeply irresponsible' and have 'blood on their hands,' the UK health secretary says in an interview with The Times

London The UK's health secretary Matt Hancock said anti-vaccination campaigners were"morally reprehensible, deeply irresponsible" and had"blood on their hands," in an interview with The Times published Saturday.

His comments came days after a study by UNICEF, the United Nations' children's agency, found that measles deaths were up globally by 22% in 2017, and complacency and fear of vaccines were among the factors leading to less vaccinations.Speaking the same day on BBC Radio 4's Today program, Hancock said the UK needed to"consider all options" to ensure more children were vaccinated, refusing to rule out the possibility of compulsory vaccination.

charlesadler Yup worry about antvaxxers while abortionists have real blood one there hands.

Measles deaths up globally by 22% in 2017. Why aren't we outraged?!

FIFY...Manufacturers, insurance companies, and politicians are morally reprehensible, deeply irresponsible, and have blood on their hands for the deaths and injuries of innocent children from untested for safety vaccinations provided by makers with no legal liability.

You know what’s morally reprehensible? If a child has a severe reaction to a vaccine and his/her parents are not allowed to sue the pharmaceutical company directly for damages and long term care. They have to go to a vaccine court where settlements are rare and paid by taxpayers.

We need vaccines...They need to be safe..If there is a chance that they are not..every question should be addressed..end of story.

Fact check: not wrong.

We need an Anti-Vax island for the loons.

charlesadler Oh, name-calling. Very persuasive!

They probably believe in climate change too. Idiots.

Very correct. You hear that JennyMcCarthy ! Or do we call you the wife of the ugly Wahlberg?

What is 'Anti-vaxxers' please? Thank you.

Worked with a Pediatrician who specialized in with special needs infants & children. He complain about a parent not wanting their children vaccinated even after informing them that all the ingredients haven't been used since mid 70's. Hmm that could explain the Parent's attitude.

All accurate points.

He's not wrong.

And include donald trump

I DIDNT HAVE CRUSHES WHEN LITTLE SEEING Steve MAY HAVE SHAPED MY TASTE

Thank Uncle Putin , Trump's Boss, for spreading lies on the internet about vaccines

It's not too late to double up your shots

This is correct.
