That's because the first reactions for AntManAndTheWaspQuantumania aren't nuanced enough to explain that the source material is Marvel Comics' Micronauts comics from the late 1970s/early 80s, which were heavily influenced by the Star Wars franchise.

As always have to take these reactions with a pinch of salt as seen recently with Knock at the Cabin first reactions calling it a return to form for the director and then two weeks later receiving poor reviews

Not a surprise that Jonathan Majors is getting rave reviews for his performance as Kang.He is on the verge of becoming America’s great actor. He’s been great in every movie I’ve seen him in. This movie is going to blow his profile wide open.
