"On Monday, I became a father," he said. "I've never actually said that before, out loud, and it still kind of astonishes me. I'm a dad. I have a son, and I want to you to meet him.
Growing visibly emotional, Cooper paused as he choked back tears before finishing with the stats: "He was 7.2 pounds at birth, and he is sweet, and soft, and healthy and I am beyond happy."
Really? People from his social and income status did it all the time. Certainly from the 20's onward. What they did not do, was a pushy PR event. I am happy for him, but enough already. 99.99% of the gay community (or any community) will ever have the advantages he has.

Not all gay men approve of a child not having a mother. Mothers are that guiding nurturing light in all our lives and I cant agree with wilfully denying any child that special relationship.
