Firefighters were responding Tuesday afternoon to a small wildland fire on the Chester Creek greenbelt west of Lake Otis Parkway.

The fire was smoky but not growing quickly around 2:15 p.m. as crews tried to pinpoint its location, according to Anchorage Fire Department Assistant Chief Alex Boyd. Four AFD units responded, Boyd said.
