Your weekend brief: Analysts see stocks like PayPal and Apple emerging from earnings season with more upside

Despite the coronavirus pandemic and economic uncertainty, some companies are leaving earnings season in even better shape, Wall Street analysts said this week.

In fact, the percentage of S&P 500 companies beating EPS estimates has "held up" through the season, according to JPMorgan. "At 84%, this marks the highest level of beats in at least the last 10 years," the firm said. CNBC Pro looked through recent Wall Street research to find companies that analysts say are well positioned exiting the quarter.
