Sanders is 👎 a Democrat - he's an independent from the great state of Vermont yes he votes with the Democrats all the time however voters should be wary of him.

Simple. Millions of Obama voters voted for Trump. Obama's message was change, which we never got. Bernie could have won but was ousted by the DNC. The past 2 elections show a movement of the people vs the establishment (which Hillary symbolized). Trump was the people's grenade.

It's possible win without the bulk of Trump supporters if Democrats who stayed home in 2016 turn up and vote in swing states. Trump won the EC by less than 100K in those states combined.
