An Arizona woman cannot use frozen embryos fertilized by her ex-husband to have children and has to donate them, according to a ruling by the state's Supreme Court.
Ruby Torres had her eggs fertilized before undergoing cancer treatment in 2014, court documents say. At the time, she and her then-boyfriend, John Joseph Terrell, signed an agreement at the fertility clinic that said if they split up the embryos could either be donated to another couple or used by one of them to have children -- but only with the"express, written consent of both parties.
If she have someone to be a carrier for her.
Husbands/men have rights too. Wtf happened to that All of a sudden everything is about poor women? Weak.
Wth. How is that fair
Oh that makes a lot of sense-Not!
I mean this is the ideal test case for explicit difference between body autonomy vs parental choice If there's no standing active pregnancy, equal choice, erring on not proceeding
What Court ? What justice ?
I'll take them, carry them, and then give the kids to her. As the mother who is giving them up for adoption, I can pick her as their guardian and he won't have to pay child support or have any rights to them. Loopholes are a thing, people.
What the with her
WTF!!!!!!
But, but...these 'human beings' want to be born. Aren't they a product of conception after all? How do you use a man's right to choose to prevent these innocent beings from existing on Earth?
CNN always mislead with their headlines. To manipulate the story.
Has to donate them!!!!!? WTF?
That is wrong.
