Could probably thank Pepperdick also. Does it matter that nobody was going to buy those? I could see those ending up on a clearance rack in some outlet pretty quickly. Why risk pissing off one of your main customer bases for those No one should let a mere sneaker company or halfwit ball player try to rob the nation of its heritage with a made up controversy.

Who's Right When It Comes To The Flag Shoe -- Nike, Colin Kaepernick Or The Arizona Governor?Nike launched and then quickly recalled a July 4th special edition sneaker that used the Betty Ross American flag design. Did they do the right thing? What about the Arizona governor and Colin Kaepernick who had opposing perspectives? What about their judgement? The answers may surprise you. I don’t know that any of them are wrong necessarily, but Kaepernick can express his feelings, Nike can follow his wishes, and the AZ Governor can express his reaction too. They need to remember the freedoms being used are because of this country’s existence. I applaud Gov. Doug Ducey! teamDucey Arizona Governor! This flag was flown with pride over the Obama Inuaguration and not a peep....now however,,,,it's racist? NIKEisWRONG
