Workers at Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar started a labor union in February in an effort to bargain for higher pay and more transparency in the workplace.
Corpstein said Alamo Drafthouse's unresponsiveness to the union is what workers have been dealing with since they went public with their union back in February. “We wanted to send a message to corporate,” he said. “And how best to do that other than disrupting business sales for a day in one of the most profitable locations in the country?”
Obviously the fool doesn't understand Texas is an at will state.
😡😡😡😡
Well that worked well

All bots flapping there gums . Your lucky to have a job . Right to work state you want that chit go to California walk over fece and needles to get to work. Get out.
I'm old enough to remember when you looked for a better job if you wanted/needed more pay. We all knew what the ceilings were in entry-level jobs & let's face it; if you're bringing me popcorn & drink refills during a movie, there ain't tons of headroom. May he land on his feet.
Well 🤷
alamodrafthouse this is really disappointing
in other news countless labor organizers across the country merely followed employer policy and kept their jobs so mysterious
