As you can see in the video -- shot Sunday on a flight from Charlotte to Philadelphia -- the mother was trying to explain her side of things to a flight attendant who came over after the initial argument ... which was all over a different AA staffer asking her to stand up to let another passenger get to his seat.
The father was recording video of the convo until a third flight attendant approached from behind and smacked the phone out of his hand. That's when things got way more heated, and the couple was eventually removed from the plane. While in the Charlotte airport terminal, the mother involved in the incident says she did nothing wrong and was met with aggression and unfair treatment from the start.
Sources familiar with the situation say that the family was removed from the flight, and AA booked them on a later flight to Philly. A spokesperson for American Airlines tells TMZ..."We are investigating the incident and working to understand what took place." The couple makes it clear ... for them, what happened was a flight attendant making"no attempt to be professional, no attempt to be kind."
That’s so fuc*ed up aa needs better staff
Same experience same airline except it didn’t get physical cause I knew that’s what flight crew wanted, a reaction to throw her weight around . I travel often and the aggressive behavior unfortunately is not just from passengers .
AmericanAir DONT FLY WITH THEM! They suck!
I’m so tired of this injustice towards our people 😡🤯😢
Flight attendants on a power trip. People in the position of authority need to be kept in check. AmericanAir no excuse for this. You need a “Passenger Advocate” on every flight that oversees the flight attendants.
This is fucked up. The flight attendant who slapped the phone out his hand should be fired and the other 2 need to be under investigation. They had no right.
I couldn’t imagine taking a 7 week old baby into a busy airport and airplane normally, let alone during a pandemic. They have basically no immune system yet
Playing the race card in 3..2..1…and call Al Sharpton!
Flight attendants have too much power, and for some, it goes to their heads. They can just pull the safety card and get you kicked off or banned from the airline or even worse blacklisted from flying at all. Ive seen it happen enough with these power tripping flight attendants.
