While Amazon is a blockbuster stock today, early investors would've been disappointed for the first decade of its stock's performance.

Amazon was founded 25 years ago today, on July 5, 1994. The company was the second in the US to hit a market capitalization of $1 trillion in 2018, but had a long road to that success. Early investors would've seen disappointing returns for the first decade of Amazon's performance as a public company. The company is a cautionary tale for investors looking to cash in on banner IPOs coming to market this year.

Bezos is not as invincible as he seems Hmm 🤔, that would mean that eBay shopify and any other site would be liable also huh? That ruling seems DANGEROUS to businesses... they should just have to place a discliamer stating SOMETHING like - 'We are, by in part, a service company selling third party items - any material defect with such products is between you and them.' (you are NOT forced to buy)☑️

Amazon has officially become its own largest shipperAmazon is now its own largest package handler, surpassing the US Postal Service (USPS), according to Rakuten Intelligence. Sure, but when I was the largest package handler in the office, I got fired. Amazon’s move AWAY from established Logistics Companies to Everything InHouse strikes of desperation, not strength. Though their service needs addtl functionality as well as system & customer testing, they push on- with little their customers (business & personal) EXPECT. Amazon I think with 80% of people shopping on internet now, especially at Christmas, I believe they don’t have a choice but to deliver so customers will get packages in a more timely manner. My mail lady the other day was killing her self trying to carry prime pantry , size of a coffin!
