New York Amazon has pulled merchandise featuring the words"stand back" and"stand by," a phrase now associated with the Proud Boys, a far-right collective that the Southern Poverty Law Center says is a hate group.
"All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action including potential removal of their account," an Amazon spokesperson told CNN Business, adding that the products have been removed.The items, which had been sold on Amazon, showed the Proud Boys logo and those words"stand back" and"stand by.
