Amazon plans to build a sorting facility at former Sears warehouse in Anchorage

Those jobs are part of a “hot” business sector — trade, transportation and utilities, he said. It’s the only Anchorage sector beating its 2019 job numbers, before the pandemic.

The 2 major chain grocers are merging… will require a new 3rd competitor for deal to be approved…(parent companies of Fred meters &carrs) same shell company that bought this warehouse bought sears mall property… I’m thinking we will see Whole Foods here soon then(Amazon)…..

I wonder if they will hire American workers or import them like they have been around the country.

Alaska is fine as we are with our 12 stores. all they want to do is get us to spend more money so they can make more money while also making us poor. All Amazon wants is for us to become daily consumers. They put this plant in Alaska so we’re more drawn to buy from them. WAKE UP!
