In an interview with ABC News'"This Week," the New York Democrat blasted Amazon, claiming low worker pay contributes to Bezos' status as the world's richest person.Amazon retorted in a tweet Monday saying the company pays a $15 minimum wage and offers full benefits on employees' first days on the job. The company also noted that it has lobbied to raise the federal minimum wage..@AOC is just wrong. Amazon is a leader on pay at $15 min wage + full benefits from day one.

I use to work for Amazon. It was torture on my body, legs, arms and especially fingers. Depending on your position, I worked Outbound. 1, 30 min lunch break and 2, 15 min breaks. I stood for 10 hrs in an area smaller than a prison cell. $12 an hour. It was hell.
She already cost her constituents good paying jobs by Amazon not building there. If she stopped now it would look even worse.
