Alyssa Milano on why she chose to share her #MeToo story 25 years later

Alyssa Milano spoke to"The View" on Wednesday about her decison to share her own #MeToo story of sexual abuse in Hollywood 25 years after the alleged incident happened.

Although she didn't name the person involved or the film set that it happened on, Milano said that a man 17 years older than her, who she shared a love scene with,"took advantage of a moment of completee vulnerability [and] literal exposure." Milano added that she was compelled to share her story after hearing those from other women around the world.

"You don't have to name your accuser. You don't have to say exactly what happened to you. You just have to stand in solidarity with other women that have faced this horrible reality," Milano said.

I find it very hard to have sympathy for someone who knew a man was an active danger to other women and still chooses to do nothing about it. Go the police. Speak up. Do SOMETHING to stop other girls from becoming victims! And if you don’t, then what use are you?
