community slammed a new edition of the game that locked a new PvE mode behind a $250 pay wall despite some previous editions featuring a season pass promising all future DLC. Now, all players who purchased the Edge of Darkness edition with the season pass have been given access to the PvE mode.
If you are an Edge of Darkness or Unheard owner you can play the PvE mode by selecting the PVE ZONE button on the main menu. This will then switch you to the PvE experience and you can play as you normally would without having to think about other players.to those who upgraded from EoD to Unheard at the full $100 upgrade price, which was then halved once it was announced the PvE mode would come to EoD anyway.
