After detailing the schedule for getting the court’s work done by the end of June or early July, Alito skipped the usual boilerplate that justices tend to employ about disagreeing about the law but re

maining respectful and friendly. The disclosure of the draft opinion, indicating at least five members of the court at least tentatively voted to overturn, has shaken the court, which prides itself on private deliberations. Protesters demonstrated at Alito’s home, not far from the George Mason campus, and were in force outside Thursday’s ticketed event, the fourth annual Scalia Forum.

Several students traveled from the university’s main campus in Fairfax to denounce the school’s decision to host Alito and to voice their support for abortion rights. Alito’s topic centered on how Scalia, who died in 2016, had transformed the court’s methods of reviewing federal laws, putting far more emphasis on the text of the law rather than the intent of Congress.

Perhaps he should discuss why it was being hidden to begin with. This is why there is no place for religion in government decisions. Just because it is your belief does not make it mine. Why use examples from laws that were not even relevant to the United States much less today.

They are not concerned over anything but the law.

Coward.

You’ve been outed Mr Alito. No need to be coy now

I'm all ears, man, all ears.

You mean the extremist right wing activist court!

The lack of experience & credibility of the three recently confirmed justices along with this extreme irrational ruling has deemed the Supreme Court totally irrelevant. Good judgment, integrity, and propriety are crucial for any institution to be respected.

Maybe because there's a mob outside his house?

Guess who I could never hear from again? The dude who referenced a jurist from the 1700s who burned women at the stake as witches.

Sadness.....Remember we can't force our beliefs on others. Using the law. It doesn't work! Teaching, education, fairness, justice, discipline, and morality has to be taught. Changing the law doesn't change the birth status is the USA. Male and Female accountability is paramount!!

Reluctant?! Who the hellgives him that right. He wrote it; the hateful man

Silence and hiding under Ginni Thomas's skirt is NOT AN OPTION, Alito. The Scotus is a crime scene, and the people need answers!

Hoping for hot mic Alito.

Yes, Alito literally quoted this guy, who was born in 1609, as a defense for ending Roe v. Wade in 2022. “Two treatises by Sir Matthew Hale,” Alito enthusiastically writes, “described abortion of a quick child who died in the womb as a ‘great crime’ and a ‘great misprision.

So easy to make decisions in a vacuum.

I would reword it to say he is too cowardly to discuss it.

Why no response as to who leaked it. Do not believe they don’t know.

State inside is irrelevant. What we think of them out here should concern them most.

Because it’s in a bad state. Because a significant % of Americans don’t trust SCOTUS Because it’s partisan&rules not according to the constitution, but according to extremist Christian national views Because more than one member was appointed by manipulating rules. It’s a mess.

Alito doesn't want to talk about the white hood that goes with his black robe SCOTUSIsCompromised SCOTUSWarOnWomen SCOTUSForcedBirth

Alito’s draft opinion overturning Roe is still the only one circulated inside Supreme CourtThe Supreme Court is set to gather Thursday for the first time since the disclosure that it voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, and there’s no sign that the court is changing course from issuing that ruling by the end of June The supreme court, the right hand of slavery. SCOTUS is rattled? Please. Issuing Alito’s opinion will end the US, and that is not an exaggeration. And there is no reason why the Supreme Court should change its course of repealing Roe v. Wade in spite of all the violent leftists protesting outside the homes of the justices.

Some birth control could be banned if Roe v. Wade is overturned, legal experts warnWith trigger laws in 13 states poised to go into effect if the Supreme Court strikes down Roe v. Wade, a new era of restricted access to birth control could unfold in states that narrowly define when life begins, legal experts say. RoeVWade needs to be reversed! GOP ready to throw people in jail the moment life is conceived - a moment no one can measure with accuracy without invading a woman's right to privacy (if at all) but refuse to do ANYTHING about climate or votes which are measured every-which way.
