The Family and Medical Leave Act guarantees many staffers 12 weeks off for medical reasons or family matters, but the time is unpaid and employees must meet certain criteria to qualify, including having worked for their employer for at least a year.
The U.S. is the world’s only industrialized country without a paid parental leave policy for workers.
How about a limo pickup for work?
There’s not much I agree with AOC, but agree this would be ideal for families. This is not affordable to businesses and government. Maybe if we didn’t pay for all illegals we can take care of our own families.
Only a moron would think that is workable. Small businesses especially could be crushed.
