The Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg raises a flag as it dedicates the new home of the Jewish CommunityHarrisburg city leaders and residents gathered Thursday to witness family members of the late Rite Aid founder Alexander Grass dedicate the future home for Jewish community life.

“This is really about a moment to take what is one of the most beautiful properties that I’ve ever seen and really make it shine. And take this moment to dedicate this campus standing on those who have come before us on their shoulders but very much knowing that the best is yet to come.” Toward the end of the event, Elizabeth Grass Weese and Roger Grass received a standing applause as they raised a flag, emblazoned with an image symbolizing an eternal flame, officially dedicating the new campus named after their father, Alexander Grass.

She said the campus is designed to benefit and serve the community at large, regardless of religious affiliation.

Biden's Nominee for Brazil Ambassador Faces Accusations of AntisemitismElizabeth Frawley Bagley, the Biden administration’s nominee to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Brazil, is facing accusations of antisemitism from both sides of the aisle after a 1998 interview surfaced in which she referred to the “Jewish lobby.” Thats gonna cost her some more $$ in Biden’s pocket. The question is this, “is she wrong”? If she isn’t wrong, then is it still anti-semitism? So she told the truth? The only real pillar of bipartisanship: fervent, blindly loyal defense of the tribe.
