martini bar dressed in aprés-ski fashion with vintage snowshoes and ski poles greeted guests upon arrival. Of course, espresso martinis topped with peppermint chocolate dust were of plenty, as were a savory, specialty cocktail infused with oregano.
Unfortunately, Rojas herself was feeling under the weather, so her best friends and brand ambassadors, Mariella Everett and Julia Loomis, graciously undertook the role of hostesses for the evening alongsideLaura Paterson. Fashion folk, including Charly Strum, Charlotte Cordes, Elizabeth Sulcer, Natascha Schuetz, Jani Gerard, Ezra Williams, Jordan Rhodes, Victoria Barbara, Lisa Von Tang, Cecily Ward, and Winnie Chang, were eager to catch up on holiday plans and new year resolutions.
The twinkling snow-dusted trees nestled between Rojas’s designs made her chunky knit sweaters and teddy bear wool coats look extra cozy. Nearby luxury caviar specialist,, provided a decadent caviar bar for guests to enjoy with their martinis. In the middle of the store, a long table outfitted in faux fur throws, romantic candelabras, overflowing tiers of charcuterie, and braided dinner rolls from the Frenchette’s Bakery set the scene for evening’s main event.
Mina Soliman curated the alpine-inspired menu with classics like a pecorino Brussel sprout salad, roasted chicken with thyme, creamy mushroom risotto, and lots of harvest vegetables. Unlike most dinner parties, dessert was served with glasses of bubbly downstairs in Rojas’s showroom turned archive collection sale.
This year, Rojas will donate a percentage of her proceeds to LifeWay Network, a global movement against human trafficking. By providing safe housing and increasing awareness about the harsh realities of human trafficking, LifeWay Network continues to confront the criminal enterprise. During a season centered around gifting, Rojas’s focus on giving back speaks to her deep-rooted generosity as a designer, friend, and mother.
