Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey sought a pause in executions and ordered a 'top-to-bottom' review of the state's capital punishment system Monday after an unprecedented third failed lethal injection.

Corrections Commissioner John Hamm said the department is fully committed to the review and is “confident that we can get this done right.”

Marshall, the state’s top prosecutor, didn’t immediately say whether he would agree to Ivey’s request. The attorney general “read the governor’s and commissioner’s comments with interest” and “will have more to say on this at a later date,” said spokesman Mike Lewis.

So stop with the lethal injections because it's 'the humane thing to do'. The accused did not show any type of humanity when they did what they did to be put on death row. Hang them or shoot them- period! Plus stop this 20-30 yrs on death row crap.

Well, it's Alabama!

Death Penalties should be illegal

Horrifying 💔

The good old pro life crowd.

Try again!!

Pro life my a$$

Bullets are cheaper. Just sayin'...🐸🇺🇲

Sounds like divine intervention, Kay

They’re just looking for more efficient way to kill people

The cruelty is the point.

Alabam, your Cadillac has got a wheel in the ditch. Swing low.
