Kentucky’s attorney general has agreed to release the recordings of the secret grand jury proceeding that considered charges against three officers involved in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor.

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron addresses the media following the return of a grand jury investigation into the death of Breonna Taylor, in Frankfort, Ky., Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020. Of the three Louisville Metro police officers being investigated, one was indicted.

In his statement Monday night, Cameron also revealed that the only charge he recommended to the jury was wanton endangerment. He had previously declined to provide details on what charges prosecutors brought to the grand jury to consider when it met last week.Cameron said the grand jury is meant to be a “secretive body,” but “It’s apparent that the public interest in this case isn’t going to allow that to happen.

A coroner’s report says Taylor was shot five times and died of multiple gunshot wounds. It says she was hit in the torso, her upper left extremity and both lower extremities. She tested negative for drugs and alcohol. Cameron suggested that his office would not stand in their way: “We have no concerns with grand jurors sharing their thoughts on our presentation because we are confident in the case we presented.”

Let’s not forget anyone who has supported, covered, or done the dirty work for Trump. Even if VP wins, we need to hold these people accountable.

AP you need to fix this tweet. The grand jury only considered charges for 1 officer, not 3. This is the whole point of the article - charges were not recommended for the 2 involved in Breonna's death. We need to stop doing promoting the AG's misleading presentation of this.

I want to see the proceedings to. I guess that's secretive

Woman was in the wrong place (yes, her bed) at the wrong time. Cops come crashing in, BF takes a shot at the po-po and they shoot back, with pleasure.....tragic

A juror disputes finding? Senior police official condemns raid? Unprecedented release of transcripts? Who thing botched from start to end.

they won't be secret then.

Lots of things not adding up in this whole Breonna Taylor killing. Louisville showed their guilt with that $12.5 million payment to her family.

🧐

Be clear he only “agreed” after a juror filed a motion with the judge to compel it
