KABUL, Afghanistan — A car bombing and mortar shells fired at a busy market in southern Afghanistan’s Helmand province on Monday killed 23 people, including children, a statement from a provincial governor’s office said.
The statement from the office of the governor, Gen. Mohammad Yasin, did not provide further details and there was no claim of responsibility for the attack.A Taliban spokesman, Qari Yusouf Ahmadi, denied the insurgents were involved in the bombing. The Taliban claimed the military fired mortars into the market while the military said a car bomb and mortar shells fired by the insurgents targeted the civilians.
A statement from the presidential palace said Afghan President Ashraf Ghani strongly condemned the “brutal and inhumane act,” and stressed that targeting civilians, especially children and adults, is against Islamic and human values. The United Nations in recent reports and statements has asked both sides in the conflict to be more careful of civilian casualties, saying they are on the increase.
This meaningless war must end now, we cannot stand any more casualties
It was the Russian secret agents.

Honestly at this point I think it’s the democrats. I apologize if that sounds like a conspiracy, but 2 days after their Russia/Afghanistan bounties story. Now a terrorist attack that no terrorist organization will take credit for?
More 'Peaceful Islam' in action, I see.
That’s almost as bad as Chicago.
That car bomb did less damage than Black Lives Matter did in Chicago last weekend.
