Former Afghan President Karzai meets with Taliban to discuss country's situation, futureKarzai served as Afghanistan's president from 2001 to 2014 and has expressed his goal to negotiate with the Taliban for the good of the country. I doubt this will help or go anywhere He seems like a double agent. He's got his hands in more than one pot of gold? Its almost as if their plan was to just take what they could from the west. Wait it out and keep the pressure on until they leave. At which time he pulls his departure and it all falls apart Good it’s better than the coward that left his country behind. Hope he doesn’t come to America. Maybe this guy that knows the country will make it livable for the ones that want to stay.
